Why David Paul Foster Co. in Hemet

Polished Concrete done right, the first time, in Hemet.

Grinding and polishing the slab you already have into a finished floor — no covering, nothing to replace later. We work Hemet from the older downtown grid out across the valley floor toward San Jacinto, with our own crew on every job — no subcontractors, no surprise charges, and one number to call from the first estimate to the finished concrete coating.

We apply polished concrete across Hemet and the surrounding area, including Menifee, Murrieta, Moreno Valley, Temecula.

What's included

  • Ground with progressively finer diamond tooling rather than coated
  • Densified and sealed, so the finish is the slab and not a film on top of it
  • Nothing to delaminate, bubble or peel later
  • Gloss set where you want it, from a low satin to a full reflection
  • Interior slabs, showrooms, offices, retail and warehouse floors
  • Old coatings removed first by our own crews, not subcontracted
Polished Concrete in Hemet

Built for Hemet homes.

Hemet sits on the floor of the San Jacinto Valley, and it is one of the hotter, drier places we work. It also carries a lot of older housing stock, which means older concrete — slabs that have been in the ground for decades and have generally been coated, painted or sealed at least once before we see them.

Older concrete is the defining feature of Hemet work. Slabs poured decades ago that have taken a hard climate ever since, often with a home-applied sealer or patio paint somewhere in their history. The first job is usually finding out what is on the concrete and whether it comes off cleanly.

That is work we are well set up for. Removal is a service we run in its own right, including for other contractors, so a Hemet patio with an unknown coating on it is a normal Tuesday rather than a complication.

Hemet FAQs

Polished Concrete in Hemet, questions

We do not know what was put on our patio years ago. Can you still work with it?

Yes, and it is a common situation in Hemet. We test a small area first to see how the old material comes off before committing to a method across the whole slab. Using the wrong approach on an unknown coating wastes a day and can damage the concrete, so that test is part of the estimate.

How is polished concrete different from an epoxy coating?

A coating sits on top of the slab. Polishing is the slab. We grind up through a sequence of finer and finer diamond tooling and densify the surface, so there is no film that can peel, chip or bubble later on.

Can any slab be polished?

Most can. It comes down to how hard the concrete is, how much aggregate you want showing, and what is already on it. If yours will not take a good polish we will tell you that before you spend money on it.
