Polished Concrete done right, the first time, in San Diego.
Grinding and polishing the slab you already have into a finished floor — no covering, nothing to replace later. We work San Diego from the older coastal neighborhoods inland to the canyon-edge developments, with our own crew on every job — no subcontractors, no surprise charges, and one number to call from the first estimate to the finished concrete coating.
We apply polished concrete across San Diego and the surrounding area, including Chula Vista, El Cajon, Mira Mesa, Escondido.
What's included
- Ground with progressively finer diamond tooling rather than coated
- Densified and sealed, so the finish is the slab and not a film on top of it
- Nothing to delaminate, bubble or peel later
- Gloss set where you want it, from a low satin to a full reflection
- Interior slabs, showrooms, offices, retail and warehouse floors
- Old coatings removed first by our own crews, not subcontracted
Built for San Diego homes.
San Diego brings something none of our inland cities do: salt air. Coastal and near-coastal concrete lives with marine moisture and airborne salt, and both change what a coating has to cope with. Inland San Diego neighborhoods behave more like the valley cities we know well.
Marine air is the variable inland work does not have. Salt carried in on the air is corrosive, and persistent morning moisture from the marine layer means coastal slabs spend far more hours damp than an inland slab ever does. Coatings that would be perfectly happy in Wildomar can be under real pressure a mile from the water.
That argues for systems with genuine moisture tolerance and for taking slab moisture testing seriously before coating, particularly on older properties and anything on a canyon edge where drainage is complicated.

Polished Concrete in San Diego, questions
Does being near the coast change what will last?
It does. Salt in the air is corrosive and the marine layer keeps slabs damp for far more of the day than an inland slab ever is. We specify with genuine moisture tolerance near the water and we take slab moisture seriously before coating, because trapped moisture is the classic coastal coating failure.
How is polished concrete different from an epoxy coating?
A coating sits on top of the slab. Polishing is the slab. We grind up through a sequence of finer and finer diamond tooling and densify the surface, so there is no film that can peel, chip or bubble later on.
Can any slab be polished?
Most can. It comes down to how hard the concrete is, how much aggregate you want showing, and what is already on it. If yours will not take a good polish we will tell you that before you spend money on it.
