Rock Staining done right, the first time, in Mira Mesa.
Restoring and coloring faux rock, boulders and water features so they read as natural stone again. We work Mira Mesa across the planned residential grid between the canyons north of the city, with our own crew on every job — no subcontractors, no surprise charges, and one number to call from the first estimate to the finished concrete coating.
We apply rock staining across Mira Mesa and the surrounding area, including El Cajon, San Diego, Escondido, San Marcos.
What's included
- Rock features and waterfalls recolored to match the surrounding deck
- Faded and sun-bleached artificial rock brought back
- Color blended across several tones rather than painted flat
- Done alongside deck resurfacing so the two finishes are matched on site
- Our own crews, no subcontracting
Built for Mira Mesa homes.
Mira Mesa is a large planned community in northern San Diego, built out mostly from the 1970s onward on the mesa between canyons. The housing is consistent in age, which means the concrete is too — and it is all reaching the same point at the same time.
Sitting up on the mesa a few miles inland, it gets some marine influence without the salt load of a beachfront property. Moisture is worth checking on older slabs, but conditions here are moderate compared with either the coast proper or the inland valley.
Because Mira Mesa was built out across a relatively narrow window, the concrete is a consistent age across whole streets, and the same jobs come up repeatedly: original driveways and patios that are structurally fine but have had forty-odd years of sun on the surface.

Rock Staining in Mira Mesa, questions
Do you come this far into San Diego?
Yes. Mira Mesa and the northern San Diego communities are within our area. It is a longer run from Wildomar than our Riverside County work, so we group San Diego visits sensibly, but estimates are still free and on site.
Can you match it to a deck you are already doing?
That is the usual way it happens, and it is the best time to do it — the deck color is being chosen right there on site, so the rock can be matched to it directly rather than guessed at later.
What is rock staining for?
Artificial rock features and waterfalls fade and go patchy in the sun, and once the deck around them is refinished the mismatch is obvious. Staining brings the rock back and ties it to the new deck color.
