Why David Paul Foster Co. in Moreno Valley

Concrete Coating Removal in Moreno Valley, done right.

Stripping failed or unwanted coatings back to sound concrete — for our own jobs, and for contractors without the equipment to do it properly. We work Moreno Valley from the tracts below the Box Springs Mountains out toward the eastern edge of the valley, with our own crew on every job — no subcontractors, no surprise charges, and one number to call from the first estimate to the finished concrete coating.

We apply concrete coating removal across Moreno Valley and the surrounding area, including Redlands, Riverside, San Bernardino, Jurupa Valley.

What's included

  • Grinding, shot blasting and scarifying — the right tool for the coating
  • Dust-controlled removal for occupied and interior spaces

Concrete Coating Removal in Moreno Valley

Built for Moreno Valley homes.

Moreno Valley grew fast and grew flat, and it sits in one of the hotter, more exposed pockets of inland Riverside County. Most of its housing went up from the 1980s onward, so the concrete is middle-aged rather than old — sound underneath, tired on the surface, and baked by a long line of hard summers.

That pushes us hard toward UV-stable systems on anything exterior. Standard epoxy in particular does not belong on an exposed slab here — it ambers and chalks, and we will say so rather than sell it. Stains, textured cool-deck coatings and UV-stable topcoats are what actually last.

Inside the garage it is a different matter entirely, and a ground and properly bonded epoxy or flake floor is exactly right. The distinction between interior and exterior specification matters more in Moreno Valley than in most cities on our list.

Moreno Valley FAQs

Concrete Coating Removal in Moreno Valley, questions

Our driveway faces west and gets brutal afternoon sun. What holds up?

A penetrating stain or a textured coating in a lighter tone, sealed with something UV-stable. Color choice does a lot of the work — the same system in a dark tone will run much hotter and show fade sooner.

Will the concrete underneath be usable when it is off?

Usually yes, and often better than people expect. The point of removal is to get back to sound concrete with a proper profile on it. If what we find underneath is not sound, you will hear that from us the day we find it rather than after something new has been laid over it.

Do you do removal for other contractors?

Yes, and it is a real part of what we do. Plenty of good contractors do not own the removal equipment or do not want to tie a crew up on it. We take the old system off, leave the slab profiled to the spec they need, and they lay their own finish over it. No competition on the finish work — we are there for the removal.
