Why David Paul Foster Co. in Vista

Interior Concrete Staining in Vista, done right.

Stained and sealed interior slabs in copper, amber, brown, gray and terracotta — color in the concrete, not on it. We work Vista from the older downtown out to the hillside avocado groves on the edges, with our own crew on every job — no subcontractors, no surprise charges, and one number to call from the first estimate to the finished concrete coating.

We apply interior concrete staining across Vista and the surrounding area, including San Marcos, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Escondido.

What's included

  • Acid and water-based stains that react with or soak into the slab, not a film on top
  • Copper, amber, brown, gray, terracotta and red tones, blended or single-color
  • Scored tile, diamond and border patterns cut into the floor before staining
  • Sealed to the gloss you want, from satin to a full reflection
  • Living rooms, kitchens, hallways, entries, offices and clinics
  • Old flooring, glue and coatings removed and the slab prepped by our own crews
Interior Concrete Staining in Vista

Built for Vista homes.

Vista sits a few miles inland from the coast, which gives it milder conditions than the beach cities without the full marine load. It is hillier than most of North County, with a rural, agricultural edge that still runs to avocado groves and larger parcels.

On the rural parcels and grove properties there is often older concrete poured in stages, plus outbuildings and equipment areas that need working floors rather than decorative ones.

Being set back from the coast is an advantage. Vista gets some marine influence but nothing like the salt load a beachfront Oceanside property takes, and it avoids the extreme heat of the inland valley. That is about as forgiving a climate for concrete as our service area offers, and it widens what will hold up.

Vista FAQs

Interior Concrete Staining in Vista, questions

Do you work on grove properties and larger parcels?

Yes. Outbuildings, equipment areas, long driveways and older concrete poured in stages are all normal work. Those want practical working finishes rather than decorative ones, and we specify them that way.

What does a stained concrete floor look like?

Mottled and varied, like stone, rather than one flat color. Acid stains react with the minerals in your slab, so no two floors come out the same — that variation is the point. If you want a more even color we use a water-based stain instead.

Can you stain the slab under my existing flooring?

Usually, yes. We take up the carpet, tile or laminate, remove the glue and any old coating, and grind the slab so the stain takes evenly. What is under there decides the final look, so we check it before we quote.
